Welcome to Planned Wanderings!
This blog exists to help people who, when it comes to trip planning, have no idea where to start!
Or for people who (like me!) dream of traveling everywhere, but really have no clue what they’re doing.
This blog is for beginners, and for people traveling to a destination for the first time, even if you have experience traveling elsewhere.
My goal is to prepare you for a place as much as possible, so that you don’t have any reason to be nervous about traveling!
How to Plan a Trip
The very first guide I want to direct your attention to is the Beginner’s Guide to Overseas Trip Planning. If you want to travel, but have no idea where to start, start here.
Beginner’s Guides
I have a lot of “beginner’s guides” to prepare you for your destination. Here are some of the guides you will find on Planned Wanderings:
Destinations
Maybe you already know exactly where you want to go, or maybe you’re looking for inspiration (or maybe you just have nothing to do at work and are trying to pass away the hours…).
I have articles to answer all the questions I had while planning my trips to these countries:
I also have articles from my sister, who lived in Papua New Guinea (near Australia) for a year and a half, as well as traveled extensively through college:
Or if you want to explore the United States, we have articles covering topics in all of these states:
Just for Fun
If you’re just looking for something fun to entertain you for a while, check out my list of the weirdest things I’ve seen while traveling, or my “travel food” bucket list.
This blog is also for nerds (again, like me) who love to travel to places where movies were filmed or they read about in books!
Here are (just) some of my nerdy articles:
Got Questions?
Don’t hesitate to send me an email with any travel questions you may have. If I don’t already know the answer, I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction!
Want to order a print?
Visit my Etsy Shop to order a copy of one of my travel photos!
You will get a digital download to print out any way you like: on canvas for your living room, frame it for your bedroom, or use it as the desktop background on your computer!
My shop is new and is still growing. Is there a photo you like that you don’t see listed on Etsy? Just shoot me an email to let me know what photo it is.
